Like you, I too have asked myself what to do about this waisted space between the base of my stand alone drill press and below the provided work top. Your detailed storage cabinet idea is an answer to one of my fleeting dreams in my to-do projects to come. My limited area wood shop needs all the brain matter available to utilize every cubic foot.
