The Tormek T-8 water cooled sharpener will let you sharpen practically everything in your shop and home. The T-8 uses a unique wet grinding stone that lets you restore your woodworking tool’s edges quickly and precisely, without any risk of destroying the temper of the steel and then uses a leather wheel strop for honing them to a razor sharp edge.

That is an impressive looking piece of kit I must say. I see on amazon that one guy gave it 3 stars and said he was going back to his stones! He’s talking about the distance of the tool from the edge of the jig changing the angle. I’m trying to understand what he means, can you shed any light on that, or do you see a problem with that?

Hello Gary. The person that wrote the Amazon review didn’t completely review the instructional video, or read the operators manual, as they both address the use of the Angle Master. If used correctly, the protrusion of the tool from the jig is a non-issue.
